The Government of Pakistan has launched the mobile phone scheme in installments. Now you can buy your dream smart phone or iphone in installments directly from the government of Pakistan. Unlike installment plans from private shops you don't need any guarantee or long paper trail to get smartphone in installments. You can buy any phone on installments.
Cellular companies like Mobilink, Ufone, Zong, Warid will facilitate the customers and provide them phones on behalf of the government.
If you have Zong sim then you will have to go to any zong customer care or help center and you can get you dream smartphone from there or you can just go on Zong App and select your desired phone or iphone and select your installment plan then you will receive your selected phone at your doorstep. Same will go with Mobilink (Jazz, Warid) and Ufone.
PTA Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and NADRA will assist the government and these companies in this regard. If someone fails to pay his/her installments then PTA will block his/her device. For this purpose PTA, NADRA and ministry of science and technology will enforce Device Identification, Registration, and Blocking Systems (DIRBS).
Mobile phones on installments from government scheme is being launched on 12th January and you will be able to get your smartphone from 12th January 2024 without any issue. This scheme is going to enable low-earning segments of society to own smartphones. This system is being used all over the world and now Pakistan has adopted this which will help people of Pakistan in the field of technology and communication.
